So yeah - I should explain.
When I was young I liked to illustrate Nirvana lyrics with painfully obvious imagery and stick them on my wall. You can even see where the blu-tack seeped through on the corners of this one. It's really old.
This one is from 'Milk It' off In Utero, which was pretty rich with the kind of imagery I liked messing with - all angsty and symbolic. It is pretty bad. Even aside from the obvious typography and the forehead-smacking juxtaposition of gun/milk/teddy, there's the fact the girl has one freakishly long arm and some pretty weird fingers. Cringe - but hey, I was a teenager, I was emo-y and everything was drawn from memory late at night with colouring pencils when I should have been doing homework. It's kind of funny as well as embarrassing. Plus it looks kind of cool when you turn the contrast waaaaaaaay up, but that's probably for another time...
